To help facilitate the understanding that can only be achieved through concentrated, face-to-face interaction, Windows on Asia runs a month-long summer immersion program in China, for high school students.
Either in conjunction with the immersion program, or independent of it, Windows on Asia also specializes in helping American high schools build school-to-school relationships with Chinese counterparts.
The
Windows on Asia summer immersion program focuses on two locations in China,
with the goal of beginning to develop a true understanding of Chinese
culture, history and language, while also building genuine friendships.
By working closely with schools and families in China, this program gives
participants a real sense of China, by the time a month has passed.
